There are 4 main types of plagiarism. Direct, Accidental, Self and Mosiac plagiarism.
Direct Plagiarism
the word Direct plagiarism refers to word for word copying of a section of work.
Self Plagiarism
self-plagiarism means when you give someone a piece of work that is either not up to date or something you did previously.
Accidental Plagiarism
accidental plagiarism refers to when you don’t credit the source you took information from.
Mosaic Plagiarism
mosaic plagiarism is when you borrow a phrase and don’t put in quotation marks.
Plagiarism is known to be a form of theft in many countries, as you are claiming work that isn’t yours. this act isn’t fair to yourself or others. you will not learn anything.
to conclude, you should not steal anyone’s work. as this may lead you into trouble. use your imagination and always concentrate on your own work.
