Remembrance 9-11-2001

Where were you on this day? For some, it was an amazing day filled with opportunities. For others, they barely remember it. Those born after 9/11 look at images in history books and ponder at the Tragedy. Finally, for many others, it was the last day they would see their loved one or walk on this earth.

The experiences of that day are different for everyone. It provokes a sense of mystery behind why thousands had lost their lives in a span of a couple of hours. However, the dark message is the same. Tragedy can rattle our hearts. It can make us feel unsafe. We may be numb to the pain. As cliche as it seems, it is important to not take things for granted and always appreciate what is around you.

Today is a day of Remembrance. It was eighteen years ago that 3000 people lost their lives. While some of us don’t want to think about the tragedy, it is a sign of love and respect for those who lost their lives. The best thing we can do is to continue to do our best in this life while supporting those in need. 9/11 was a day that brought the nation together in the midst of chaos.

Nevertheless, it is days like these that we give thanks to another day. Their souls will forever be in our memories.

E & S Family shows its respect and remembrance for the tragedy that happened. Our hearts are with the families who continue to suffer to this day. Though we cannot repair what happened, we can hope to bring a little bit of light to the darkness of the day.
