MBBS Abroad Winter Session 2020 An Opportunity to Save One Year

In some foreign countries Mbbs admissions are open again for the winter session. The opportunity is knocking the doors of those MBBS aspirants, who couldn’t get admission in foreign countries in the last session, which was ended in September 2019.

What is MBBS Abroad WINTER INTAKE?

In many countries, unlike India there are two sessions for MBBS admission which are spring session (September intake) and winter session (February intake).

Currently in countries like Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia many universities are offering winter intake.

If you have missed the earlier MBBS abroad session then you can apply in the ongoing winter session admissions.  It is highly beneficial for Indian Medical aspirants because of the following reasons:

  • Save Your One Year:

If you are willing to take admission in Indian medical colleges, then you have to wait for another seven to eight months for the NEET 2020 admission cycle. It includes exams, counselling and the college admission which is a lengthy and common process. Apart from the factor of time there is no certainty of getting an MBBS seat through NEET due to very high competition. Instead, of investing one more year in the shadow of uncertainty, you can get admission in the foreign medical universities based on your score in NEET 2019 and there will be no need to appear for NEET 2020. It certainly saves your time, money and energy which you might have to spent otherwise for getting admission in Indian medical college.

  • Get Immediate Admission:

In the earlier MBBS abroad admission session which ended in September 2019, for various reasons many candidates failed to get admission. Winter intake is a great opportunity for candidates to get MBBS admission in foreign universities right away, instead of waiting.  The second admission session starts in February 2020, which is undoubtedly, an opportunity for those medical aspirants who have already qualified in NEET 2019 but didn’t get MBBS seat in govt. medical colleges. Those students who are not sure of getting admission into the Indian medical colleges, even after preparing and appearing for NEET 2020, should definitely consider MBBS abroad winter session intake.

  • No increase in Fee structure:

The course fee remains the same as that of the first admission session which ends in September 2019. Thus for students who wish to pursue MBBS abroad, there is no reason to wait till next September to enrol into MBBS abroad. There is absolutely no difference in fee structure, curriculum etc.  Due to less awareness of MBBS abroad winter session intake there is less rush of students and as a consequence candidates would be able to secure direct admission in foreign medical universities.

What is the Eligibility Criteria to Take Admission in MBBS Abroad Winter Session?

Eligibility criteria are the same for both September as well as Feb session. For studying MBBS abroad candidates need to fulfil the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 50% of marks (PCB) in 12th standard (for General category)
  • Minimum of 40% of marks(PCB) in 12th  standard (for SC/ST/OBC)
  • Qualified in NEET examination
  • Minimum age required is 17 years till 31st December 2020.
