The Institute, its Infrastructure and Curriculum KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), the flagship institute of Karnatak Law Society was incepted in 1979. Principal of GIT Dr. Janyant K. Kittur has been the motivating factor for the success of the institute and has been leading through example. He has always performed multiple roles in the field of education. He says that teaching has given a very gratifying experience in his life.

“I have been fortunate enough to work in various positions, both as a teacher and as an administrator in education sector. In my career of three decades, I involved myself into teaching, served as a training and placement officer and Head of the Department and facilitated students in the field of research and innovation as a Dean – R & D. More than this, it is my passion towards teaching that led me to and sustaining this sector and contributes towards growth and development of students. I love to be around children while they are growing into citizens, and I feel very proud to contribute to their growth,” he emphasized.
