The Bihar Swastha Vibhag State Health Society to conduct the Computer Based Test (CBT) examination for Community Health Officer (for GNM/B.Sc Nursing & AYUSH) on Thursday, January 23, 2020. The CBT will be conducted in two shifts.
Candidates, who have applied for the examination, can download their admit card from the official website – www.statehealthsocietybihar.org from January 16, 2020. After downloading the admit card, candidates need to carry the printout of the same at the examination centre.
The Bihar State Health Society had invited applications for six months Certificate Community in Health for GNM/B.Sc Nursing and six months Certificate in community Health for AYUSH (Ayurveda/Homeopath/Unani).

This course is part of an initiative under the National Health Mission to Strengthen Sub-Centre as Health & Wellness Centres (H&WCs) for improved implementation of public health programmes and to enable comprehensive primary health care service delivery, including disease prevention and health promotion.
Candidates who successfully complete this course will be posted at Health & Wellness Centres (H&WC’s) as Community Health Officers (CHOs) to lead primary health with remuneration Rs 25,000/- per month & up to a sum of {15,000/- subjected as incentive measured against indicators subject to the approval of National Health Mission, Govt. of India.
The course will be run by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
