Nobel Prize in Physics To Be Announced Soon Today: Check Complete List: According to Sir Alfred Nobel’s will of 1895, the Nobel Prizes are awarded in the fields of Physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature, peace, and economics. From that, the board has been honoring the eligible people with the “Nobel Prize”. For the year 2021, the board has announced the “Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine” on 04 October 2021. For Physics field, the board will announce the winner with in an hour.

The Nobel Prize for Physics:

Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences will present the Nobel Prize in Physics, Chemistry and Economic Sciences. Last year (2020) The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Nobel Prize in Physics 2020 with one half to Roger Penrose (University of Oxford, UK) and the other half jointly to Reinhard Genzel (Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics, Garching, Germany and University of California, Berkeley, USA) and Andrea Ghez (University of California, Los Angeles, USA).

Three Laureates share this year’s Nobel Prize in Physics for their discoveries about one of the most exotic phenomena in the universe, the black hole. The interesting fact about this award is “Albert Einstein, awarded the 1921 physics prize.”

For this year, (2021) The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award NobelPrize in Physics to Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann and Giorgio Parisi “for groundbreaking contributions to our understanding of complex physical systems.”

Syukuro Manabe and Klaus Hasselmann have been jointly awarded one half of the 2021 NobelPrize in Physics “for the physical modelling of Earth’s climate, quantifying variability and reliably predicting global warming.”

Giorgio Parisi has been awarded one half of the 2021 #NobelPrize in Physics “for the discovery of the interplay of disorder and fluctuations in physical systems from atomic to planetary scales.”

The Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine:

The Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine is awarded for discovery of major importance in life science or medicine. Discoveries that have changed the scientific paradigm and are of great benefit for humankind are awarded the prize, whereas life time achievements or scientific leadership cannot be considered for the Nobel Prize.

The Nobel Prize for the year 2021 in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded jointly to David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian “for their discoveries of Receptors for Temperature and Touch.” Their discoveries have unlocked one of the secrets of nature by explaining the molecular basis for sensing heat, cold and mechanical force, which is fundamental for our ability to feel, interpret and interact with our internal and external environment.

David Julius is an American physiologist known for his work on molecular mechanisms of pain sensation. Ardem Patapoutian is an Armenian-American molecular biologist and neuroscientist at Scripps Research in La Jolla, California.

Last year, the award went to three virologists for the discovery of the Hepatitis C virus. While the 2020 award was handed out as the pandemic raged, this is the first time the entire selection process has taken place under the shadow of Covid-19.

For this year, the committee has planned to confer the award for other categories as mentioned below dates.

• Physiology or medicine – Monday 4 October, 11:30 CEST at the earliest
• Physics – Tuesday 5 October, 11:45 CEST at the earliest
• Chemistry – Wednesday 6 October, 11:45 CEST at the earliest
• Literature – Thursday 7 October, 13:00 CEST at the earliest
• Peace – Friday 8 October, 11:00 CEST
• Economic sciences – Monday 11 October, 11:45 CEST at the earliest
