When you delete a file from your Android phone, the file will still remain on the same spot, only the space it occupies is marked as “unused”, which basically means space is available to save new data. And once the spot is used by any new data, the files which were deleted are overwritten and then they are deleted permanently. 

The two things that you can do to make sure that you can retrieve the deleted files are:

You have to stop creating new data;

You have to recover the deleted files as soon as possible.

Here is one of the easy steps to recover your deleted data from your Android Phone:

Step 1.  You have to run the Android Data Recovery

First you have to download, and then install the program on your computer. You have to select “Android Data Recovery” option and then you have to connect your Android device to PC using a USB cable.

Step 2. You have to set up Android to enable USB debugging

You have to Enable Usb Debugging. Below are three ways to do it according to some different Android OS version:

1) For the Android 2.3 version or earlier: You have to enter “Settings”

2) For the Android 3.0 to 4.1 version: First, enter “Settings” and then

3) For the Android 4.2 or the newer versions: You have to enter “Settings” and

Then enable USB debugging

Step 3.  You can now start scanning for lost data

Once you’ve enabled USB debugging for your Android device, this will be detected by the program. You may then select the type of files you want to recover, click on the green button “Next” to analyze all your Android data.

Once you see the window below, then you should tap on the “Allow” icon, and turn back to the computer and then click “Start” to continue.

Step 4. You have to then preview and restore all pictures, messages, contacts, and also videos from Android phone

Using this program will enable you to recover all your text messages, contacts, pictures and videos from your Android device. But by using this you can only preview messages, contacts and photos now.

You can also check and choose those you want and then click “Recover” button to save them to your PC.
