This is a little-known iPhone secret is that you can actually use to Hide photos and the videos in the Photos app. However, by doing so, it  will only hide them from your Moments, Years, and Collections view, as well any of the albums they appear in, but it will keep the photos and/or videos that are available in a new “Hidden” album.

While it would be a very nice idea if Apple could make this as a passcode-protected folder one day, it could still help you keep your eyes off the spicy media when you’re showing off the collections to your family and friends. In case you definitely want to keep a password on your content, you can use the other options.

In order to hide a photo or video, you have to first select it, and then use the share icon to bring up the share sheet. You may then scroll through the bottom row of activities until you start seeing the “Hide” option. You have to then Tap it, then the options “Hide Photo” or “Hide Video” to get the job done. In case you want to view your hidden media, you can just open the new “Hidden” folder which is in the “Albums” tab.

How To Hide Photos In Samsung Devices?

In case you have a Samsung phone which runs the Android Nougat 7.0 or above, you can take most of the advantage of the Samsung’s Secure Folder feature. This feature lets you keep all the private files, images, and even all the apps that are in a separate password-protected area.

If you want to set up Secure Folder for the first time in your samsung device, you have to go to Apps > Settings > Lock screen and then to the security > Secure Folder. You will now need to sign in with your Samsung account.

After signing in with your samsung account, your device will now prompt you to choose your preferred lock method. Once you complete this, the Secure Folder will be accessible from your Home and your Apps screen.

And to hide photos in the Secure Folder, you have to open the app and then tap to Add Files.

You can then enter the four-digit password that can be used to provide access to the sensitive information like when you are going to add a new fingerprint, or when you try to change the password, etc. This password or pattern lock can be usually made at the time we turn on the smartphone for the first time when you unlock or switch it on.

iv. You have to then create a pattern or create a pattern-lock

Once you have entered the four-digit password you will now be prompted in creating patterns or the Pattern-lock, that is used to lock the access to those of the hidden files which are saved to. This is for the first use, that is usually asked two times to confirm the use of any of the new pattern.
the Steps 3 & 4 only need to be done during the first attempt, and then for the next hiding process, the files will automatically start to disappear and get stored in a hidden folder.

Once all the process is completed then all the files will not be seen again in the device’s gallery, as well as when and where you searched it from the file explorer, the files will not be found.
