Realme C2 Review

Tags: realme

Realme has now made a name for itself in the Indian Smartphone market as it has launched many budget mobiles in the country one after the other. It has managed to garner a customer base in the most competitive price segment. The company has also been eyeing the number one player in the market, as Xiaomi and it has also managed to rival their latest offering which is Redmi Note 7 Pro with its Realme 3 Pro Smartphone.

As Realme launched the newest addition to all the Realme C-series with the Realme C2. This device is now a clear upgrade from the last year’s Realme C1 which might be in terms of design and processor and also packs a MediaTek Helio P22 processor which is 12 nm as opposed to the Snapdragon 450 chipset which is 14 nm in the previous Realme C1. And the specifications of this device at its price are very much surely attractive but how does the mobile perform in real life is now the question

As Realme is now back with its very nice diamond cut design and for sure this time the diamond-cut back has many micro-patterns that offers a secure grip to hold. This device is sturdy and also feels very light in the hands and the textured back does not attract many smudges and is offered in two colors they are the Diamond Blue and Diamond Black colors.

It has no fingerprint sensor on the back of the device so you will have to rely on the face unlock. The phone although feels very much comfortable to hold but because of the micropatterns it often tends to slip out from hands.
While Coming to the display of the Realme C2 it features a 6.1-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch on top and this phone has a minimum number of bezels on the sides but also a relatively thick chin at the bottom. Overall the display of the Realme c2 is quite average while viewing angles, as well as the brightness, is quite dull.

Even at indoors the phone’s brightness has to be constantly adjusted and also things get even worse when we get outdoors. And the multimedia viewing experience on the Realme C2 is also average as well because of all of its dull viewing angles.

The Realme C2 is also powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor which is based on a 12nm process. While On the Geekbench, the phone also registers a single core score of 830, which is a multi-core score of 3,366. While On AnTuTu, the phone registered a score of 78,001 and in theory, the processor is much powerful than any of the Exynos 7870 which are found in the Galaxy M10, but also lags behind the Snapdragon 632 of Redmi 7.
