Xiaomi Next smartphone will have Three cameras!

Xiaomi is all set to launch a triple rear Camera setup smartphone in India. Xiaomi published a teaser on its official forum on Wednesday which indicates one of it’s upcoming smart mobiles may have three cameras on the backside.

This teaser did not reveal much, but Xiaomi India’s Manu Kumar Jain had tweeted that company is getting ready to launch a smartphone with one of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 700-series chips i.e., Snapdragon 730 or the Snapdragon 730G in the country. It is also quite possible that both the teasers are hinting at the same device.

Xiaomi India also posted a teaser on its official Mi forum showing a Triple Camera module. This teaser hints the coming of a new triple camera Smartphone. This possibly means that the upcoming Xiaomi phone in India will sport three cameras on its back panel. Last month Xiaomi India’s MD Manu Jain also announced that a Snapdragon 700 series phone will be coming to the country soon. And the triple camera setup phone could be the stated Snapdragon 700 series phone.

Xiaomi India hasn’t yet revealed the name of the upcoming smartphone, But it is mostly expected that the phone could be the successor to the Mi A2 aka, the Mi A3. Jain had also hinted in the official site that the upcoming Xiaomi or Mi phone will pack all the latest Snapdragon 700 series chipset i.e., the Snapdragon 730 series that Qualcomm recently launched only to offer a premium level experience to all affordable phones.
Besides having the triple camera setup, the latest teaser by Xiaomi also shows single and dual modules that orbits a planet. Though it is not yet clear on what Xiaomi exactly meant by the teaser it probably looks like the triple camera module, which is the highlight of the teaser.

In India, this will mostly be the first Xiaomi phone coming with a triple camera set up on the back panel. However, outside India, there are few phones that had come with three cameras on the back panel like Mi 9 and the Mi 9 SE. This teaser doesn’t reveal any further details about the triple camera phone.

And also the latest Xiaomi teaser is quite cryptic in nature and is showing single, dual, and triple camera modules orbiting a planet. Considering Xiaomi offers single and dual camera phones in India already, it seems the organisation is trying to launch a triple camera smartphone.

Outside India, Xiaomi also offers two smartphones with triple rear camera setup – Mi 9and Mi 9 SE – and however, none of the two phones will have the latest generation Snapdragon 700 processor.
Xiaomi is hinting at a brand-new smartphone or might be a tweaked version of Mi 9 SE specifically for India.
