According to the World Economic Forum one-third of food is wasted along the supply chain, every year. Farmers can now solve problems with the help of cameras, sensors and weather station. Apps are being developed to help farmers check the health of the leaf and know how much to irrigate. Farmers in Africa will soon be able to track market data to avoid waste.
Smart City
Cities are now being able to curb their energy and water consumption and smart water meters will aid them.
