The Storyline of Lanke Movie

The story is about Ram (Yogi) who spent several years in prison. Upon his release, he meets a criminal (Prashanth Siddiqui) who helps Ram find refuge and work. Ram, who soon becomes a popular figure in the region, also falls in love with Paavani (Krishi Thapanda), of course, at first sight. By the way, Paavani works for a charity and wants to help local children with their education. However, she gets caught in a prostitution ring run by Mandara (Kavya Shetty). How Ram manages to free Paavani and other girls from Mandara’s clutches and, in return, cleanse society is part of the story. Meanwhile, Ram also has a bitter past that catches up with him and is waging a war against all the evils in his life.

Ram Prasad also brought more than a couple of figures inspired by the Ramayana. However, the twist on Lanke is that she is a woman who embodies evil traits. While the general idea of pitching good against evil is well thought out, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Looking at how some scenes leave a bad aftertaste, it’s unfortunate that even the editing office only adds to Ram Prasad’s problems.

As for Yogi, he finds all of his abilities (acting, dancing, and fighting) in Lanke. The women in this movie also play outside of their comfort zone. Just like Krishi justifies her character, this is a difficult role for Kavya, who worked well on it. Sharath Lohitashwa surprises with the atypical nature of him. He also points out full on casting options, especially Eshther Norrona and the late Sanchari Vijay, who makes a cameo in the flashback.
