Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida fashioned the face.

Petra is a historical and archaeological city in Southern Jordan. Petra was believed to be have inhabited as early as 7000BC and can be accessed by a 1.2km gorge. The town was rediscovered around 1812 by Johann Ludwig Burckhardt and it is called Rose city due to the color of the stone from which it is built.
Tourists visit the rose city due to its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.
