UNESCO commits to empower younger men and women to facilitate certain social trade, take part within the construction of societies, eliminate poverty and inequality, and foster a tradition of peace. As a part of its efforts, UNESCO Workplace in Beirut is now launching a venture festival to make stronger youth-led projects that facilitates World Citizenship within the Arab States. The projects will have to center of attention on World Citizenship Schooling (GCED) and the Prevention of Violent Extremism thru Schooling (PVE-E).

Eligible Candidates

1. Contributors of the Formative years World Citizenship Community within the Arab States

2. Contributors of the Mediterranean Formative years Community and former match contributors

three. Formative years between 18 and 30 years previous from the Arab States with earlier venture control enjoy

Variety Procedure

Pre-selection

The entire candidates are required to put up the given venture proposal by means of February 12, 2018. Any past due submissions may not be thought to be. Skilled venture control officials within the UNESCO Workplace will overview the submitted proposals according to the next standards:

– If the proposed venture facilitates World Citizenship and the Prevention of Violent Extremism

– The cohesiveness and professionalism of the proposal

– Potency of the proposed price range

– Earlier paintings

Notice: The proposed venture will also be a part of an already current venture that wishes further investment.

Pitching

The pitching match can be held in UNESCO Regional Bureau for Schooling within the Arab States (Beirut). Undertaking managers of the pre-selected proposals can be requested to pitch their initiatives to a panel of judges from other social backgrounds. Pitchers are required to present a presentation and resolution inquiries. Decided on contributors not able to take part in particular person can be requested to put up a brief video presentation and resolution inquiries reside thru Skype.
