Latest SBI Balance Check number – Toll Free Call 24/7- SBI Miss Call Banking

SBI has launched a free service called SBI Quick- Missed call banking, where SBI balance check number has been provided to the customers, to let them check their account balance by simply giving a miss call or sending a text message on a number. In order to avail this free service, SBI Customers must ensure that their mobile number is updated in their account records. SBI Balance Check number is a free IVR Number, thus SBI customer are not charged on making a miss call on the said number. Also SBI quick is free internet service, thus this service doesn’t require use of Internet data.

How to Register for SBI Quick- Miss Call Banking

Registering for SBI Quick- Miss Call Banking, is a one time process. The process just takes few minutes to register successfully for this service. In order to register for this service, SBI Customers needs to follows these steps:

SBI Customers needs to send an text SMS that is ‘REG Account Number‘ to 09223488888 from the mobile number registered in bank records of customer. For example, REG 38519977229 to 09223488888. Once the SMS is send successfully, customer will receive a confirmation message, stating whether the registration process is successful or not. If the message says the process is successful, then the customers is successfully registered for SBI Quick- Miss Call Banking service. In case, if the process is unsuccessful, SBI customers needs to verify with their home branch that their number is updated in their bank records.

To Request Cheque Book

Send message “CHQREQ” to 09223588888. SBI Customers will receive an SMS. Send consent SMS (CHQACCY6 digit no. received in SMS) to 09223588888 within 2 hours of receipt of SMS for further processing.

To generate E-Statement for last 6 month

SBI Customers can now generate e-statement for last 6 months of their Savings Bank account. The e-statement will be sent on SBI Customer registered email ID with password encrypted PDF file. SBI Customer needs to send an SMS ‘ESTMT to 09223588888. (Note: Code is any 4 digit number of your choice which will be used to encrypt the PDF attachment sent to your registered email address)

To get Education Loan Interest Certificate

SBI Customers can now avail interest certificate of the Education Loan for the Financial Year. To avail for the same, SBI Customers needs to send SMS ELI to 09223588888. (Note: Code is any 4 digit number of your choice which will be used to encrypt the PDF attachment sent to your registered email address)

To Get Home Loan Interest Certificate

To avail interest certificate of the Home Loan for the Financial Year, SBI Customers needs to Send SMS HLI to 09223588888. (Note: Code is any 4 digit number of your choice which will be used to encrypt the PDF attachment sent to your registered email address)

To Block ATM cum Debit Card

In case of theft/loss of ATM Card or Debit card, SBI Customers can block their ATM Card by sending an SMS from their registered number as ‘BLOCKXXXX’ to 567676 (XXXX represents last 4 digit of the card number). Note: On acceptance of the request for blocking, SBI Customers will get a confirmatory SMS alert that contains the ticket number, date and time of blocking.

ATM Card Switch On/Off usage at PoS, ATM, International etc.

SBI Customers can control their ATM Card channel of usage by sending an SMS from your registered mobile number. They can choose to activate/deactivate usage at ATM, POS, E-Commerce, International and Domestic. Send an SMS ‘SWON/SWOFFATM/POS/ECOM/INTL/DOM XXXX’ to 09223966666. E.g. SWON POS 1234 to activate POS usage. SWOFF INTL 1234 to deactivate International usage. On acceptance of the request for activation/deactivation, SBI Customers will get a confirmatory SMS alert that contains the reference number, date and time of request.

To Generate ATM GREEN PIN

SBI Customers can now generate their ATM Card PIN through an SMS. To generate PIN SBI Customers needs to send SMS PIN CCCC AAAA to 567676 from registered mobile number. Note: XXXX is the last 4 digits of ATM Card number and YYYY is last 4 digits of the Account Number. On sending the SMS, customer will receive an OTP on their registered number. Now SBI Customer needs to visit a SBI ATM. On inserting the card on the slot, the system will ask for OTP thus the customer needs to enter the OTP, received on the registered number. OTP Carries a expiry time of 2 days. It is recommended that it should be done within 24 hours.

De-Register to SBI Quick-Miss call Banking Service

If any SBI Customers is not satisfied with SBI Quick – Miss Call Service then he can deregister from this service at any time by simply sending SMS ‘DREG ’ to 09223488888. After sending the SMS, SBI Customer will receive a confirmation message showing status of either successful/unsuccessful of de-registration process. If successful then one will not be able to use the services till you register again. In case of unsuccessful check the format and mobile number and try again.
