How to fill ICICI Bank deposit slip correctly

India’s largest private sector bank ICICI, is not only best in delivering top banking services but also aims to satisfied all its customer owing to its  Banking service. ICICI bank provides many top instruments to give them easiness in making transaction. One such instrument is ICICI bank deposit slip, that allows its customers to deposit cash in his dedicated account. ICICI Bank deposit slip is the only option left with a customer when he doesn’t possess ATM card to deposit in his account. ICICI Bank deposit Slip is divided into two section, one is customer copy (also called as counterfoil) which is at the extreme left (as shown in obove image) and the bank copy (which is at the extreme right). Account holder need to mention his account details on both bank & Customer Copy. The cashier retains the bank copy and returns the customer copy as receipt to the customer after putting signature and bank seal on it. Customer copy

  1. Deposited in Branch: Write the name of ICICI branch in which your are depositing money.
  2. Date: Write the date when you are depositing in your account.
  3. SB/CA/OD/RD/CC Account No: Select the type of account you maintain and write the dedicated account number
  4. Loan Account/Credit Card No: If you have a ICICI Bank credit card then mention the credit card number. If you have taken loan then do mention the loan account number. In case of none leave this coloumn blank.
  5. Name of account holder : Write your name or simply the name by which you operate this account.
  6. Particulars: Under this section just write simply cash, if you are depositing money in a account but in case depositing cheque in account then write particulars of the cheques like i,e name of the bank, city where it is drawn,its branch and cheque serial number.
    Rs: : Write the amount you are depositing in figure.
    Ps: Mention this as 00 if the amount is in round figure.
  7. Rs. in words: Just write the total amount in words that you are depositing in your account.
  8. Officer’s Sign: Leave it blank

Bank Copy

  1. Date: Just write the date on which you are filling the deposit Slip/Form to deposit money in your account.
  2. PAN of A/c Holder: If you depositing a sum above 50,000 in account then you need to mention the PAN Card number.
  3. SB/CA/OD/RD/CC Account No: Select the type of account you maintain and write the account number
  4. Loan Account/Credit Card No: If you have a ICICI Bank credit card then mention the credit card number. If you have taken loan then do mention the loan account number. In case of none leave this coloumn blank.
  5. Name of account holder : Just write name by which you operate your account.
  6. Contact number: Write mobile number
  7. Deposited in Branch: Write the branch name, where you are depositing.

CHEQUE DEPOSIT COLUMN: If you are depositing Cheque in your account then only you need to fill the entries in these coloumn. In case you are depositing cash in your account just write simply cash in Bank column and write the amount in Rs and pcs column. Rest coloumn need not to be filled.
Bank’s : If you are depositing cheque in your account then mention the name of the bank whose cheque has been drawn
Branch: Write the name of the branch, where cheque is drawn
Cheque No.: Just write the 6 digit serial number of the cheque (mentioned at the bottom of the cheque).
Rs : In the total box below the table write the total amount you are depositing

Ps: Mention this as 00 if the amount is in round figure.
TOTAL : Write the total amount you are depositing in your account.


CASH DENOMINATION COLUMN
Denomination ( Pieces)
: Write the details of your currency, like it is in denomination of Rs 2000 note or Rs 500 note or Rs 100 note. Just write number of pieces of currency that make your sum, you are depositing.
Rs: Write the total amount in figure
Ps: Write 00 if the amount is in round figure.
TOTAL : In the total box below the table write the total amount you are depositing

For Office use: Leave this Blank( for office Use)

On the reverse entries of this deposit slip, you need to fill some entries let’s see what these entries are:

Declaration for third party cash deposit in savings /current account: If you are depositing in your own account omit this section. But if someone else is depositing in your account by filling this slip then that person need to fill this section. Let’s see the details, other person has to mention here.

Date :___The third party person should write the date _
Deposit Amount : _The third party person should write the amount he is depositing in your account _
Purpose:_The third party person should quote valid reason for depositing in your account
I confirm that the cash deposit is not towards payment for job offers, claiming lottery winnings /awards /gift /inheritance.
Signature of Depositor :__The third party person should put his signature in this column___
Name of Depositor :_The third party person should write his name_
Contact No. : _The third party person should mention his mobile number____
Relationship with A/c Holder:_The third party person should mention the relation type he has with the account holder_
