My name is Amit Kumar Rai, currently working as Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). My current posting is in Varanasi (UP) in Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam. I was selected for the UPPCL AE exam. I joined UPPCL  on 4 April 2019. I have completed my B.Tech from IET (Institute of engineering and technology). Lucknow in 2017.

Previously, I was working in Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) at the post of Assistant Traffic Controller in (SCTO Cadre) till March 2019. After that, I resigned from LMRC to join UPPCL

I revised my whole technical syllabus with the Kreatryx’s Krash video and my short notes prepared during college time. After that, I solved Gate previous year 1 mark questions and ESE objectives.

For the non-technical portion, I focused on static GK and reasoning mainly with SSC CGL previous year. I read the last 6 months’ news and burning topics for current affairs questions.

I have been following Kreatryx and Ankit sir since my 3rd year (2016) when Kreatryx has just started. I have been a regular user of the K-Test (Online Test Series for GATE).

With my hectic job in LMRC, I was losing my technical touch due to a lack of time. When the notification of UPPCL was published, it was hardly 2 months’ time for me to prepare for my dream job (UPPCL AE). I purchased the Kreatryx’s Krash Video for GATE Revision Course which is particularly designed for revision in a short time covering all syllabus of GATE. It helped me a lot. I am really very very thankful to Kreatryx for creating such a wonderful revision plan for professionals. Currently, I have suggested this plan to my juniors and UPPCL ae aspirants (as fresh recruitment notification is already out ).

My friends, two things I have to say.

1. Prepare for the Non-Technical portion (Apti Reasoning GK) equally as seriously as you prepare for the Technical GATE portion. You will find an abundance of job opportunities.

2. Never Join too early in any bad firm at the compromisable post. You will not be able to get out of it whole life. (Have patience). (Unless you are dropper for more than 2 years)
