IPU CET 2017 Seat Allotment

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts the entrance examination for candidates who are seeking admission in various undergraduate engineering courses. Once the candidates have filled their choices in the form, GGSIPU will make the IPU Seat Allotment. The process will schedule on the behalf of merit list. To confirm the seat, the candidates need to pay part of the academic fees.

Here candidates can follow the procedure for IPU CET examination allotment. The seats will allow only after the candidates have filed his or her choices on the registration form. If the candidate has not registered or filled the choice, then he or she will not allow taking part in the GGSIPU CET 2017 Allotment process.

The seats will issue to the candidates only based on Merit List. It is mandatory for all candidates need to pay the counseling fee. If fails to pay a fee the application cannot process further. Once choice filling round completed, the candidates will get the seats according to the merit list and relevant category/region.

GGSIPU CET Provisional Allotment 2017

Indraprastha University Seat Allotment will be available online. So the candidate needs to check the result through his/her account. Candidates can able to download the IPU CET Provisional Allotment Letter. The option of printing it will provide only for the respective round and specific time period too. Once the seat allotted, candidates need to pay Rs. 40,000 as the academic fee to confirm the seat.

If the candidate fails to attend the counseling session, then he/she will lose claim of allotted seats and will not consider further for IPU Allotment process. Once the payment will be done, the candidate can pay the fees satisfied with the seats allotted to his or her, and then click on freeze. That means they do not want to participate in other rounds.

On the other hand, if the candidate does not click on freeze, the seat allotted to them will give to the next higher preference in the merit list automatically. Then, the particular candidate will not allow taking participate in the further counseling session. Using the withdraw option candidate can withdraw the allotted seat. After the withdrawal, the candidates will not consider in the other rounds, except spot counseling.

In the online seat allotment last round, the category wise seats, and region-wise seats will convert to the unreserved category. This procedure will be done only after doing seat allotment for the reserved category.
