COVID-19 | Update on The Ayurvedic Clinic & Ayurveda Institute UK

COVID-19

Update on

The Ayurvedic Clinic & Ayurveda Institute UK

From the Ayurvedic Clinic, Ayurveda Institute UK and

the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals UK

Dear friends
We hope that you have been able to watch the videos and read the information we have sent out on preventative measures and treatment for the symptoms of COVID-19. The treatment protocol is working well for patients who have followed it and so we hope that you will pass this on to anyone in need, knowing that there are no side effects and there is a great hope for Ayurveda and natural medicine to replace our dependency on pharmaceutical drugs.
We also have good news regarding the Clinic and the Institute. Whilst we are continuing to work with patients who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, we are also able to now offer consultations in the clinic again via Skype / FaceTime.
The Ayurveda Institute is continuing to operate also and plans are being made as far as we can to organise exams and courses.
Please see the information below.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are operating with a smaller staff all of whom are working remotely except to post medicines, which is being done in safer way
Whilst so many are experiencing great hardship at this time, we do know that this period shall pass and soon we will be able to see each other and perhaps live in a much wiser and conscious society as a result of this experience. So please continue doing all that you can to keep everyone safe and well.
Consultations with Dr Wathsala via Skype / FaceTime will be taking place between the following times and days:
Tuesday – Saturday – 9.00am – 5.00pm

Please make sure you read the information below as our working practices have changed due to the current situation.

Consultations via Skype or Facetime

If you have a Skype account, please send a Skype request to us at  rupaayurveda  (this is also included in the confirmation email you received). At the appointed time, please call the doctor on Skype making sure your video and microphone is switched on.

If you would like to have the consultation via FaceTime, at the appointed time, please call this number:  07944 218224

Following your consultation, the clinic reception will then contact you within 48 hours to organise your parcel, instructions for the herbal medicines and payment (which can be done by card over the phone or bank transfer).

Please note that in relation to the postage of medicines, 3 options are available:
  1. You can collect your medicines from the clinic – they will be placed in a storage bin on the front porch with your name on. To use this method, you must specify which day and approximate time you will be collecting them.
  2. Small parcels can also be posted through the letterbox with normal first class delivery times (please note that delivery times may be a little delayed due to the current situation)
  3. Larger parcels will be sent once a week on a Friday from the post office

If you are experiencing or suspect you are experiencing any symptoms of the corona virus and would like to have a consultation – please specify this when contacting us so the we can arrange your consultation accordingly.

If you are a current student of the Institute, we will continue to send out e-learning videos and information for you to continue your studies. Now may be the perfect opportunity to give your attention to this science. We will send out information about upcoming exams soon and any postponements and will give extensions to students if required. If you have made an enquiry about joining our courses, we will soon be sending out information about the courses scheduled to start in September 2020. At the present time we are unable to say whether these dates will be viable. We will register your interest and once the situation has stabilised we will re-visit the issue of starting dates and/or any amendments to the courses.
If you are registered for the massage course in March or June, once again, as soon as the situation stabilises, we will re-visit the dates and / or amendments to the courses.
