Nowadays many Teenagers claim that they have too Busy a program, and that modern society expects too much from them. As a teenager, I would like to write my opinion about it, give some suggestions on how to make teens’ schedules better, and also compare us with other eras.

Studying and exams are the things that cause more stress. Teenagers have to study multiple hours and also take exams for subjects they don’t like. Why should we study all the subjects and take exams rather than have some subject courses so the student could learn and develop skills in what they want (for example, after junior high school teens separate in classes according to their favorite lessons)? Also, many youngsters say that they are too busy doing sports or doing their hobbies. I believe that is because many parents make their children do sports they like without asking. If you are on a basketball team not because you like basket, but because your father obliges you to go, you would never be a good player and you would always feel psychologically tired. My suggestion is to let children discover their hobbies to find what they like the most because when you do something you like, you would never feel busy.  

But to get the whole picture we have to think about how the lives of teenagers from older eras were. In the past when our Grandpas were teens they used to work and they lived with less than us. Also, many of today’s parents were beaten by their parents when they were kids. So I believe that although today’s teens may be busy and have some problems they live easier lives than teens from older eras used to.

To conclude modern teenagers’ lives have difficulties and if the Governments and some parents make changes in the school system and have a better behavior towards kids these problems would end.
