Titanfall was published by Respawn Entertainment at October 28th 2016 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows. It is a direct sequel to the first Titanfall game, whuch was published at March 11th 2014 for the Xbox One, the Xbox 360 and WIndows. The game has recently been a hit since its recent release on the game platform known as Steam, so I decided to talk about it.

The first remarkable thing about this game is its incredible movement. You can slide, run, walk, wallrun, double jump and even grapple across its various beautiful maps. Another core mechanic are the Titans, giant mechs that fall from the sky that a player can get inside of and get control over them. There are 6 titans, each with their own weapons and abilities. But the player has abilities too, like grappling, becoming invisible, going really fast etc. There is also a wide variety of guns such as pistols, assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles and even grenade launcers whicch can be used to kill other players AKA pilots or Titans.

Now to the actual game, there are two modes: the Campaign and the multiplayer. Firstly, the campaign is phenomenal. You play as Jack Cooper, a former grunt turned pilot, a supersoldier, in the middle of the battle. After his Captain dies and transfers his Titan, BT-7274 to Jack, he goes on an adventure to destroy the Artifact, a superweapon which destroys planets. Even though it’s small, with only 7-10 hours needed to complete it, it’s really fun and, in my opinion, one of the best campaigns o this decade.

Then, there is the campaign, which is a far cry from the campaign. Here, you have different objectives every match, like reaching a certain amount of kills or destroying all of the other team’s titans. You also have more weapons and far more abilities. It is overall pretty fun, with the additionof friends that you can fight with. This is the main focus of the game, so you’d expect that there would be more stuff in it than the campaign.

Last but not least, I want to talk about that Titanfall 2 and Respawn Entertainment did right compaired to other games like it, such as Call Of Duty. Firstly, there is loveput into every aspect of the game,especially the story. There is also a breath of fresh air from other shooters, because of the gameplay. Last but not least, there are littleto none microtransactions, and you don’t haveto pay to get boxes that will thengive you stuff you do and don’t want, instead youu get what you like directly.

To sum up, I think that Titanfall 2 is a great game with much love put into it, and I recommend it to everyone who likes shooters, especially now that it is relevant again and super cheap
