TJEEB enunciated as Tripura joint Entrance Examinations Board was created by the government of Tripura state. It conducts various entrance examinations to get admission in various private and government colleges of the state for Engineering Degree courses, Medical courses and other professional degree courses. The head office of the board is situated at Old Secretariat Complex, Finance Building [2nd Floor], Agartala, Tripura, India. It is a common engineering entrance examination held in two phases namely JEE Main and the JEE Advanced in all over the country.

Main objective of the board is to organize common admission test for admission in the Engineering colleges and Medical Colleges. Candidates are selected for the appropriate courses by considering their performance in the admission test as well as according to the merit list. Currently, Dr surajit chakraborty is chairman, Dr amitabha saha is member secretary (academic), shri dhirendra debbarma is member secretary (administration) of the board and nine members are works under the TJEEB.
