Age Limit: Candidates age should be 21-43 years for post-1, 4, 5, 23-43 years for post-2, 35-45 years for post-3 as on 01-01-2018. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ STP/ STH candidates as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have B.F.Sc Degree from any College/ University recognized by the ICAR or D.F.Sc or Master of Science (Fisheries) from CIFE Mumbai or any other Institute of the ICAR for post-1, Degree or Diploma equivalent to a Degree of a recognized University in any branch of Medicine with 2 years experience for post-2, at least 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics from a recognized University or its equivalent or Degree of a recognized University with Mathematics, Statistics, Economics as subject and a Diploma recognized by Govt. obtained after atleast 2(two) years Post Graduate training in Statistics for post-3. Pay Scale:Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/-plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test/ interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 250/- for general candidates, Rs 150/- for SC/ ST candidates through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “Non Tax Revenue, Other Non Tax revenue 0051 PSC, 105 Stste PSC Application Receipt of APSC” showing name of post and department. No fee for BPL Certificate candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application along with recent photograph, self attested copies of certificates/ mark sheets, fee, “The Name of the Post Applied for—-” should be clearly written in bold letters in the envelope containing the application form by post to Under Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission (APSC), Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on or before 19-03-2018.
