Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have 10+2 certification from a recognized board.
The min aggregate marks as given below (category wise):
General Category: 60 % in four subjects (including mathematics)
OBC category: 54% in four subjects (including Mathematics)
PH category: 55% in four subjects (including Mathematics)
SC/ST category: Passing marks with Mathematics as one subject
Examination Pattern:
The exam pattern will be different for different courses offered by the university. For the UG course (merit based) there will not be any entrance exam. Otherwise candidate must take up IPU CET 2017.
Syllabus for IPU CET 2017:
The candidate will be giving exams over the subjects they have studied in their 11th and 12th. The questions will be asked on the basis of their 11th and 12th std. knowledge.
The Syllabus in engineering will be different for different courses. Students will be studying the basics of technology in the first year of their engineering and the subjects will be mostly common. When students enter their second year of their engineering they will be studying the core subjects with respect to their streams.
Admit Card:
The Admit Card of the students will be issued as soon as their admission gets confirmed from the university. The university will do the verification process of the documents which are provided by the candidate and asa they get confirmed with the authentication of the documents the Admit Card of the student will be issued.
Counselling:
The normal counselling process will be held and the seats will be allotted according the students merit.
List of the documents required at the time of Admission:
Student will be required to produce the following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission.
Class 10th and 12th Mark sheet
Class 10th and 12th Passing Certificate
Character Certificate (recent)
SC/ST Certificate
OBC (Non- Creamy Layer) Certificate
At least two passport size self-attested photograph
