“Do not be misled. Bad company corrupts good character. Come back to your senses as you ought and stop sinning for there are some who are ignorant of God. I say this to your shame”
1 Corinthians 15:33-34
Bad Company:
A group of persons/individuals unsuited for your purpose
Some say that you are known by the company you keep. I remember when I wanted to fit in with the popular peeps at school. I was an outsider, but I desired friends. Welp, my mother met those friends, and told me I shouldn’t hang around them. Did I listen? Does any teenager? Lol. I found myself hurt because I tried to mold myself in the image of someone else so that I could “fit in” their group. I was in bad company.
Along our path of life we will encounter many people. Some good, some bad. We have a choice regarding who we surround ourselves with, and who we allow to pour into us. Make sure those who are along for the ride are passengers supporting the direction that God is taking you and not distracting you!
