Confidently: in a self assured way that expresses faith in oneself or one’s abilities or qualities

It’s Sunday, and 7:02AM. I was awakened out the slumbers of sleep around 5:00AM. I spent some quality time with God, and decided to blog for the Wtv Monday Motivation. I haven’t blogged in while because I got distracted, but that’s a different story……

For some reason, the quote by Thoreau has been on my mind.  As you start your work week, remember each day is an opportunity for you to go confidently in the direction of your dreams. You have the abilities and qualities to make your dreams come true.

Three Reasons to Go Confidently In The Direction of Your Dreams:

1. You have a plan, just keep executing – Galatians 6:9 states, “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up“.  Reaping means, to obtain as a result of effort. You may not see the results right away. Continue to work hard, stay determined, disciplined and dedicated to see the process through. In due time, you will see the results of your actions, and effort. Sometimes plans change. That’s okay. Adapt and adjust. There is more than one way to achieve a goal.
2. You have the skills, abilities, and resources available to help you – That’s right! You have it all inside and you have to tap into it! If you feel you don’t have the skills, knowledge, and ability there are opportunities all around you to help you acquire them.
3. Others are waiting on you – There is someone who is in need of what was planted in you to provide.

Many people tell me that I am going to do great things. I used to say to myself ,”man I wish I could see myself the way they see me”. I wasn’t confident in my abilities or qualities because I was comparing myself to other people. NOT ANYMORE! I’m a limited edition, just like you. I have different perspectives, knowledge, skills, and abilities. I am finally learning to accept the pretty dope woman I am, inside and out. I’m still growing. Not perfect. Never will be; however, I will make each day count by going confidently in the direction of my dreams and I hope you do too!
