Finally, after so much of confusion and dilemma in VTU students, VTU released an official circular stating as follows:

Postponement of Theory Examinations scheduled on 12. June 2017- reg.

In the view of the Karnataka Bandh called On 12th June 2017, the theory examinations of Visvesvaraya Technological University scheduled on 12 June 2017 have been postponed, and the rescheduled dates will be notified shortly. The Principals of constituent and affiliated engineering colleges are requested to bring the contents of this circular to the notice of all the concerned.

Since the rescheduled date is speculated to be June 22nd or 23rd, and no official statement has been made yet on the reschedued date for VTU examinations for the final year.
