We hit the road at 10am last Saturday and headed to Bright in the Victorian High Country. What should have been a 3.5 hour trip turned into a 5 hour drive – besides a lunch stop in Euroa, we were also stopped in Seymour by a good Samaritan who had picked up our son’s mountain bike which had bounced off the bike carrier. The bike was actually ok!
We absolutely loved Bright and the Bright Holiday Park was fantastic with loads of shade from big trees, nice new bathrooms, a large TV room/bbq area, mini golf, free wi-fi and a beautiful river that runs through the park where the kids can splash around.
Other attractions include the Bright’s Splash Park, Bright Brewery and various wineries. On the way home, we also stopped at the Cheese Factory in Milawa.
