Here comes the Sun: “Sip of Sunshine” IPA that is…

What better way to celebrate a beautiful early fall day than with a Sip of Sunshine.

This lupulin-ladin India Pale Ale is packed with juicy tropical fruit character, bright floral aromas and delectable layers of hop flavor. Pour mindfully, inhale deeply and enjoy a tropical vacation in a glass or can for that matter. Always store cold, enjoy fresh and stay cool!

As an aside, if you are wondering what lupulin is – as I was when I researched this awesome Beer – it is a bitter, yellowish powder found on glandular hairs beneath the scales of the flowers of the female hop plant – got that? I still don’t know what it is, but it makes for a great IPA.

With 240 calories and 8% abv per serving, it is a bit filling, however, it still goes down easy. That said, sip the sunshine and enjoy. Don’t chug!

Sip of Sunshine Ipa is brewed by Lawson’s Finest Liquids at Two Roads Brewing Co. in Stratford CT. However, I found it at my favorite little bodega – the Clinton Gourmet Market – on 46th and 10th in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC. The manager remembered me from all of my previous beer shopping sprees and ran over with this in hand. Thank you “beer guy”!

I give this little taste of sunshine a 4.2 out of 5.0 on the Viduch Scale. Run to YOUR favorite bodega and ask YOUR beer guy to carry it. You won’t be disappointed.

CHEERS!!!
