Broken Shed Vodka is crafted from a blend of two of New Zealand’s purist waters with natural protein whey that is distilled three times. It’s free from gluten, free from GMO’s, free from additives and added sugars.
Here’s the story about how Broken Shed Vodka was created, by The Vodka Guy – https://vodka-guy.com/broken-shed-vodka-review/
Two were New Yorkers who’d gone to New Zealand for a better life, and they teamed up with a local guy and, as guys do, started hanging out in a shed. But instead of shooting the breeze and downing beers, they decided to try to make the perfect New Zealand vodka. When they found their formula and launched it in 2010, what else could they call it but Broken Shed Vodka?
Lavender Sugar for rim of cocktail glass:
Place 1 tablespoon lavender flowers and 2 teaspoons sugar in a small bowl. Rub the flowers into the sugar with the back of a tablespoon to infuse the sugar with the lavender.
Lavender Simple Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3 Republic of Tea Blueberry Lavender tea bags
Place water and sugar in a saucepan. Stir and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and add tea bags. Allow to simmer over low heat 3 minutes. Turn off heat and allow the tea bags to steep for 7 more minutes. Remove tea bags from water and discard.
Cocktail:
2 ounces Broken Shed Vodka
1/2 ounce triple sec
2 ounces white cranberry juice
1 ounce lavender syrup
Place vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lavender syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a cocktail glass.
