What Is The Future Of Famous Boy Band Radiohead? Are They Still Together?

Radiohead is an English rock Band that was formed in 1986 in Abingdon-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. It’s been nearly five years since the band released an album and in that time the band has had some serious storms. First, there was the acrimonious split with their record label, EMI. Then in the wake of that came the departure of their famous drummer Phil Selway.

Furthermore, there have been reports that the boy band is on the verge of breaking up. For a band that has always been private, this development has been played out publicly and has left many Radiohead fans wondering what is going on with the band.

Is Radiohead Still Together?

Yes, The Boy Band Radiohead is Still Together. Radiohead informed British hyperbole label NME that they would be taking a year off together but that one year has passed and two years and a half and there is no sign that the ban will be performing again soon.

In response to the uncertainty surrounding the future of Radiohead, Ed O’Brien has stated that the band is not currently active and has no plans in the nearest future. During an interview with The Line-up podcast, O’Brien admitted that there is currently no Radiohead.

Is The Boy Band Radiohead Breaking Up?

The recent media speculation that the boy band may have broken up is incorrect as the band has not done so. In an interview Radiohead guitarist, Jonny Greenwood addressed some of these rumors, and while he doesn’t confirm or deny that the band is breaking up, he does seem to suggest that Radiohead is at a crossroads.

It feels like we have been through a lot together and we are all the worse, Greenwood told Dazed. I don’t know if it’s just the age we are at, but it feels like the end of an era. Greenwood went on to say that the band is in a wired limbo period and that they haven’t been able to fully commit to making a new album, I think everyone’s just kind of doing their own thing at the moment.

Greenwood also said that It’s hard to know when next the band will get together and start working on stuff properly. It is hard to know if the band will break up or make a comeback but certainly, the band is at a crossroads and only time will tell what the future holds for the band for now it seems like the band is in a holding pattern.
