Recipe with absinthe: Absinthe Eggnog

We saved the best for last.

Have you tried eggnog with absinthe before? If not, then we can highly recommend the following recipe (which is almost as delicious as the Creme d’Absinthe from Bugnon):

Absinthe Eggnog

Ingredients:

• 40ml blanche Absinthe (for example Vit Opal from Svensk Absint)
• 40ml heavy cream
• 20ml sugar syrup
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 whole egg

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and shake without ice. Add ice and shake to chill. Strain into a glass or cup.
