Keurig K45 vs K55 — what’s the difference between these two nearly identical models?
Currently the K55 is the top selling Keurig coffee maker because it offers affordable, no-frills brewing. There aren’t any fancy features or big digital displays.
It does its job and does it well.
(And it generally costs around $100, which is pretty good for a K-cup coffee maker.)
The K45 offers the same functionality, as our side-by-side comparison table below shows.

Keurig K45 vs K55: The Differences
The K45 was discontinued and replaced by the K55, so by features and specifications they’re the exact same machine. The K55 will contain any unspecified modifications to internal components (things like changes to tubing or connectors which aren’t listed on the manual) but for all intents and purposes they’re identical.
The K45 does come with an additional accessory: Keurig’s charcoal water filter starter kit. These sell for around $12 on Amazon (currently $11.99).
