12 Days of Christmas Recipes: Caramel Hot Chocolate

What’s better than a smooth and creamy hot chocolate? How about a caramel hot chocolate?

Stay warm this holiday season with this cozy hot chocolate recipe. For those with a super sweet tooth, this may just be the winter warming recipe for you.

Want to give it a go? You will need the following:

Ingredients

  • 1 Café Escapes Hot Chocolate K-Cup® Pod
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 1/3 Heavy Cream
  • 1 Shot of Caramel Syrup

This one is nice and easy, all you need to do is

  1. Start by brewing a Café Escapes Hot Chocolate K-Cup® Pod in your favourite mug and put it to one side.
  2. Heat the milk and cream together in a saucepan and place over a medium low heat, until just before boiling point.
  3. Slowly pour in the milk and cream to the resting Hot Chocolate in the mug and add shot of caramel syrup.
  4. For the final touch, why not grate some of your favourite chocolate on top! We like to pop a few marshmallows into ours.
