A Magical Day of Nautical Exploration at Tokyo DisneySea (Throwback)

Tokyo Disney Resort has two theme parks - Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. We decided that the latter would be more fun to bring my sister and her family since it's the only DisneySea that exists in the world. With HB, this was our second visit. Tokyo Disney Sea is a 176-acre theme park designed with a nautical and maritime theme that opened on September 4, 2001.

We knew it was going to be jam-packed on weekends, so we just wandered along the park. Taking countless pictures of ourselves and just soaking up the views and ambiance.

It has seven themed areas: Mediterranean Harbor, Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, and American Waterfront. Park shows and rides are more suitable for adults.

Tokyo DisneySea is vast, so be physically prepared to avoid an arduous long walk. The admission ticket (1-Day Passport) is 8,200 Yen per person (price as of October 2020). The park's operating hours are from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. But, it may differ on certain dates. To be sure, check the park's website beforehand. Tokyo Disney resort is located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, outside of Tokyo.
