Still unknown to many. The company was established after privatization and is located in Khorajkelavice, hidden in the Pilsen region. The financing of the company is linked to the coups of the last century, with 66% of the shares owned by the Swedish owners and the remaining 33% by us. It is a modern company with production and marketing programs, technical facilities, and skilled employees. Despite the fact that most potatoes are not edible, the company is in the food industry. Potatoes are made of water, starch, and fiber, and various machines remove the latter fibers to produce a unique starch. The process is simple: belt, washer, shredder, and so on until the potatoes become the final starch. The company purchases from small Czech farmers as well as from individuals in Bavaria. Economically, it is more advantageous to purchase from the farmer closest to the farmer.

Dextrin is a product produced by the thermochemical treatment of starch, which has distinct properties: its solution is sticky and binding. It is produced from both potato starch and corn starch. Tapioca starch is also used. An interesting feature and high flexibility is that the technical properties of the resulting dextrins can be in line with customer wishes. In particular, dextrins are applied in many industries, for example in the textile industry, where dextrin-infused starches are used to improve the quality of printing, since they provide a wrinkle-free overall appearance and also absorb water well. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as a coating for various tablets. Of course, it depends on the technical parameters that need to be chemically tested to make sure it is of the right structure.
