- Pop Boutique
An easy favourite!! Pop Boutique is well known amongst avid retro and vintage lovers. The rails are consistently kept tidy and easy to sort through, the clothing is carefully picked and makes vintage shopping a considerably less time-consuming task (because no one likes faffing in shops). They also stock vintage furniture downstairs and have a popular cafe next door – amazing.

2. COW
Situated in the heart of Northern Quarter, COW is perfectly placed on the corner of Church St, and the brilliant window displays definitely catch your eye. With a range of vintage clothes for all tastes, including a wide range of 90s clothing, COW is a popular destination for many Northern Quarter dwellers. They have shops across the country, including a pop-up shop in the Arndale Centre’s Topshop, and also stock clothing online.

3. Retro Rehab
The exterior of Retro Rehab perfectly demonstrates the shops character- colourful, quirky and true to it’s roots as a retro boutique. The clothing is lovingly revived by the team and you can see this attention to detail in all their pieces. It’s also great value for money, which is always a bonus!

4. Junk Shop
I LOVE it here! All their clothing is sustainable, ethical and really cool. Shopping in Junk Shop is so refreshing, the colours and fabrics are all uber unique, wearable and affordable (yey!). They also do a range of sewing courses to suit anyone from beginners.

5. Oxfam Originals
Last- but definitely not least, Oxfam cleverly opened Oxfam Originals to target a more specific audience and they’ve done a pretty great job. The shop is perfect for second-hand designer brands, meaning that unfortunately they do come with a more hefty price tag.
