Salford Rum has announced the collab of the year with the launch of its new Coffee Rum, which is made with the Signature Blend from local speciality coffee makers, Salford Roasters.

The two local indie firms have joined forces to create the limited-edition Coffee Rum, which will drop on the Salford Rum website at 8pm on Sunday 24th March. With the company’s last two small batch rums selling out in minutes, it’s wise to set your alarm if you want to bag a bottle…

The Coffee Rum combines Salford Rum’s premium craft rum with Salford Roasters’ Signature Blend for a rich, smooth and aromatic spirit delivering velvety notes of vanilla, chocolate, almond and molasses.

With the coffee cocktail trend still delivering, the rum has been created to make the perfect Espresso Rumtini. Hard shake 50ml of Salford Coffee Rum with 40ml of fresh espresso and 20m of sugar syrup to create a foam, fine strain into a martini glass and garnish with three coffee beans…

The bottle – as always – is stunning and makes the perfect gift for rum lovers. Hazelnut-coffee brown with bronze-gold detail and the signature map of Salford by Dave Draws, the Rum will make a magnificent addition to any drinks cabinet or home bar.

The limited-edition Salford Coffee Rum 70cl (37.5% abv) drops on SalfordRum.com on 24th March at 8pm, priced at £42. There’s also a limited edition set with a bespoke Salford Rum coffee cup and a bag of Salford Roasters coffee beans for £60.
