OKTAGON 48 set for AO Arena Manchester on November 4!

The ’Stage to the Cage’ project will reach its conclusion in Manchester when reality TV superstar, Jake Quickenden, faces top comedian, Paul Smith, under full professional rules. After dedicating themselves to the sport for over ten months, the popular pair will compete for three, five-minute rounds with headkicks, elbows and legal submissions allowed to see who will be crowned the winner of the ambitious venture.

For wider audiences to gain an insight into the beauty, skill and technique involved in MMA, Jake and Paul’s progress will be tracked leading up to their November 4 showdown in a multi-episode documentary so the general public can become invested in their stories and follow their progress from novices to fully-fledged professional fighters.

OKTAGON 48 in Manchester will also feature the OKTAGON Challenge: England vs. Ireland finale where the two fighters remaining from opposite teams on the show will square off to decide who becomes the series champion. The winner will also earn a five-figure contract with the organisation, placing themselves among the very best prospects in the region. Individual and national pride will be at stake in the climax of the competition that has already created heroes in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. More details about OKTAGON Challenge: England vs. Ireland will be revealed very soon.

Rising talent, Shem Rock (8-1-1), is scheduled to compete in Manchester after garnering mainstream attention due to his exciting fighting style and unbelievable backstory.
