Dakota Manchester has revealed its beautifully transformed outdoor Terrace which is now available to book for alfresco drinking and dining experiences with friends.
The boutique hotel’s terrace offers a 170m2 al fresco retreat in the heart of Manchester city centre. A minimal modern design by KPP Architects, the terrace is enclosed in venetian fencing, complete with muted tones of luxe décor – opulent stone flooring, a marble bar and greenery that drapes from the ceiling and climbs the interior.
The Terrace at Dakota offers a sophisticated backdrop for drinking and socialising while also welcoming guests with a specially curated menu for sharing, with signature dishes including the new fruits de mer platter – scallops, oysters, langoustines, and lobster – along with a selection of light bites and small plates. A hidden hideaway to escape from the busy city yet remain on the doorstep of Northern Quarter, The Terrace offers a bright and airy space to enjoy the summer in the city, with food and drinks packages available for table bookings.
The new Terrace at Dakota Manchester is open all year round come rain or shine, with retractable canopies to the roof and sides for sunnier days, while for cooler days guests will be covered and warmed by state-of-the-art external heaters. The lavish space floods with natural light during the day and transforms into a romantic setting in the evening with orange hued lighting and night sky views – making it the ideal destination for daytime gatherings or late-night dates. In the future, the terrace will also be available for exclusive use and events for up to 80 guests seated and 100 standing.
Dakota is currently operating with enhanced health and safety measures in accordance with government guidelines, so bookings on the terrace are essential and will be limited to adhere to the one metre plus rule until further notice.
