So John Mayer's been doing Instagram live sessions for his fans lately to help promote his new album, The Search For Everything. He's been releasing the tracks in separate sets called "waves," with the latest--called Wave Two (preceded by Wave One...of course 😒)--released just last February 24.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before but one of my biggest fantasies is hearing John sing any of my songs/poems. He's one of the greatest influences of the way I write, so of course there would be no greater fulfillment than to be noticed by John himself. I'm not even saying that they should do business with me and buy my song (although I wont exactly reject the proposal. LOL)...I'd be fine if he would just acknowledge my work and think it's good enough for him to sing it himself. OR he could just say "good job" and I'd already be walking on clouds. Hahaha! In any case, it would inspire me to continue to write.

That said, I've been trying to get John Mayer's attention ever since social media allowed for some kind of access to him. I've tried tagging him on Instagram, sang a parody of his song and posted it on Youtube, and mentioning him from time to time on Twitter. I know it sounds desperate but hey, I'm working on a fantasy here. 😂

Anyway so he's becoming fond of Instagram Live and that gave me another opening to pester him. Lels. Yesterday he did another one and luckily I was able to catch it halfway through. I was laughing when I caught myself basically just typing random stuff to get noticed like a toddler getting her mom to buy her a lollipop. There was less than 1% chance he'd read my comments (and in the end he had read NONE 😑), but a girl's gotta try, right? 😂

So I took screenshots of my comments because I thought it was funny how silly I was [for my age]. I'm @giselleplease. Just look at John Mayer's face in the caps...they're very appropriate reactions. Hahaha
