With over 30 songs choreographed, the fountains dazzle audiences every 30 minutes in the daytime and every 15 minutes at night. The 375,000 square feet man-made lake sits directly in front of the Bellagio hotel and casino which offers seven lakeside restaurants, bars, and clubs to take in the sights.

2. The operation of a symphony.

The Bellagio Fountains are rumored to cost $10,000 to $15,000 per night. That’s between $300,000 and $400,000 per month. It has also been reported that the fountains cost over $40 million to build. The fountain has 1214 jets, 4500 lights, and 8000 meters of pipe. It can shoot as high as 460 feet in the air, which is only 81-feet shorter than the Eiffel Tower across the street at Paris Las Vegas. Its staffed with 30 employees who continually clean, maintain, and make repairs as needed.

1. Twenty-two million gallons.

The man-made lake holds twenty-two-million gallons of water over eight acres. Bellagio takes the environmental impact of the fountains very seriously, using only non-drinkable well water. The well was originally dug for watering the Dunes golf courses. This allows the fountains to be supplied 100% without using the city’s drinking water.
