If you stay in Delhi, you might have spotted a red coloured Food Truck with white and yellow stripes that renders it the look of 70’s flower power zooming at full speed in the streets. That is The Lalit Food Truck. Albeit, the street food has always been an integral part of India’s culinary experience that serves a smorgasbord of preparations and meals that have always satiated the palate. Additionally, they have never been heavy on the wallet.

In order to give a new dimension to India’s rich and vast street food, Keshav Suri, the youngest Director at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group came up with the idea of The Lalit Food Truck. His globetrotting experiences made him see this as an opportunity to fulfill street food cravings. Hence, materialized India’s answer to the world’s EAT STREET. He is the driving force to bring the US culture of Eat Street to India with a twist to complement India’s changing eating habits and mannerisms.

The Lalit Food Truck with its breezy appearance, modish kitchen that sizzles and glows, and jaunty staff that serve Tex-Mex tidbits with handpicked ingredients and cooking expertise are sure to send your taste buds on a sapid ride. The menu encompasses a whole range of Mexican food ranging from crunchy and zesty tacos to juicy and flavor some tortilla wraps. However, if your palate fancies something that is not Mexican then the burgers, the hand cut fries and the falafels come to the rescue.  After a long day of work, the sweet and sugary Churros will seize the lassitude out of you.

If you are wondering that all these savories would cause a burn in your pocket, then you are wrong. The only burn that it’ll ever cause is in your friend’s gustatory cells when you tell him about your experience here. Ishita, a college student who recently visited The Lalit Food Truck says, ”They say Good Food makes Good Mood. Every time, I have visited the truck, I have been struck in a good way. The service is prompt and the food too is great.”

After the initial success of the Food Truck in Delhi, we launched another Food Truck in Bangalore. Jalapeno omelette sandwich, fiery vegetable chimichanga and Chicken Quesadilla are the new Mexican mouthwatering entries to this menu. You may cheat your diet and get spoiled by the Chocolate Brownie ice cream. We assure you, it’ll be worth it. With the same distinct style and the same taste, the food truck is bound to do well. In the future, more red coloured food trucks with the same hippie vibe could be seen running in other cities too.

George Bernard Shaw said,”There’s no sincerer love than the love of food” and when that food is prepared with utmost sincerity and love and is brought to a street near you, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be feasting on that. Now you know why, give it a try!
