Travelling with kids can be very exciting. There are so many places, natural wonders, beaches, mountains in the world that can make your family life interesting and also a great learning experience too for everyone.
Specifically for the kids, discovering new exotic places, outstanding natural phenomena, weird animals or simply extraordinary toy stores around the world, all that will get out of their comfort zone and help them learn, grow and eventually become responsible adults.

1. The relocation of the red crabs
In October and November of every year on Christmas Island in Australia, a huge number of red crabs are moving from the forest to the sea. This can be a wonderful view, to see all those little red beauties on the beach, making a parade.

New York is magnificent in winter! You will not regret it if you spend your winter vacation there. A walk on the 5th Avenue is a must, as well as a carriage ride in Central Park! Feel the spirit!
3. Camping in a National Park
Take a weekend off, and go with your family at one of the National Parks across the US or Canada. The experience and the joy will be unforgettable. The kids will be extremely happy to play, eat and sleep under the sun and the stars, as well as the grownups too. Ready for marshmallows by a campfire?

Favorite place to be for every kid! They can spend a lifetime there. The entertainment complex in Florida will offer you four different theme parks, and 2 water parks. But don’t forget about the parks in California, Paris, Hong Kong, Japan, China and even Hawaii. There are fun things to do for everyone, from 7 to 77 years old. This is probably the most popular kids bucket list adventures of all!

6. Go on a Ski vacation
A ski vacation is the best way to see the beauty that winter can give you. Whistler in British Colombia, Canada, is one of the most perfect ski destinations. It is never too late to learn how to ski: ski-schools are always there. You can also try snowmobiling or ice-skating, and enjoy the winter to the fullest!

7. Space Camp
You can visit the Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a great experience for your kids. I mean, who doesn’t want to be an astronaut? Here kids can train like astronauts, they can make their own model rockets or they will see what it is like to live in an International Space Station.

8. Rafting adventure
If you want to spend precious family time on the water, rafting adventures are a great choice! The Adventures on the Gorge – West Virginia will offer you different kinds of adventures and rafting, for every age and for every taste. From easy floating to very adventurous ride.

9. Surf camps and schools
Other adventurous family moments can spend at the Endless Surf Camp in San Clemente, California, or at the Ron Jon Surf School in Florida. Kids will be pleased to spend a few summer days learning new surfing skills.

10. Northern Lights
Feel the magic! This natural wonder can be seen in Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, and also a lot of other Northern countries too. The Northern Lights happen because of the earth’s magnetic poles during the winter. The sky is filled with magnificent colors and shades of blue, yellow, red and green.

11. Kilauea Volcano
Kilauea is an active volcano on the Big Island, in Hawaii. There are a lot of different ways to explore this natural wonder such as hiking the park’s many trails, learn about the desert, watch the glow from the caldera or take a driving tour. You still have to be careful though: the volcano can erupt, so please listen to the warnings provided by the local authorities.

12. Legoland Billund Resort
The original Legoland Park is situated in Billund, Denmark. The park is located next to the Lego factory and it is celebrating its 50th birthday this year! This is one of the most popular amusement parks for family and children of all ages. This might be my favorite amusement park too and definitely was on top of my kids bucket list adventures!

Voted #1 Zoo in the world. They have different kind of activities for every age, kids and teen programs, even meeting with specific animals, such as experimenting early morning with Pandas. They also have a 4-D Theater and a lot of different shows. You’ll spend unforgettable moments with your family there!

14. Park Güell
The Park Guell in Barcelona, Spain, is definitely a masterpiece! It actually looks like an alive book, which is open for you and your kids, and it’s ready for you to puzzle it out. Just like in the fairy tales.
