First of all…Thank you for the lovely birthday wishes. I had a wonderful day…not a fancy day…or an exciting, but a wonderful day because truly…I felt loved and what I know for sure is…when you feel loved…wonderful things happen.

Now for the news that I can’t wait to share with you. I really should wait, but I can’t.
Back in October, on a Saturday night we were at Mellow Mushroom having a quick pizza and this guy walked by wearing a cool looking Shirt. I asked him where he got it and he said that his wife made it.
Hmmm…I could see my husband’s head jump into creative mode. Dominic is an artist and his creative brain never rests. He looked at me and said, “I can make you a shirt like that.” How I wondered? How do you know how to do that?
Two days later, I had my shirt.
And here it is!
Now here’s where it gets fun. We went to visit our good pals, Kim and David Leggett at City Farmhouse and I was wearing my shirt. She wanted one and when I told her Dominic made it, she told him to make more shirts.
Okay…big surprise. We were not expecting this. We got serious and busy and now…City Farmhouse is selling our shirts, which we have named Franklin Flannels™. It’s like a dream come true only we never would have dreamed this one up!
Over Christmas we shared our shirts on Facebook and what has happened is simply amazing and joyful! Folks are loving them because no two are alike. They’re super cozy and soft and you won’t want to take them off!
We’ve shipped them across the United States and it’s just the best adventure. Our lives have been turned upside down with Franklin Flannels and we’re loving it.
