Our cycling trip will start in Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam. We set off our journey along the Red River to Yen Bai and Lao Cai the frontier province and cycling along the border line between Vietnam and China to Muong Khuong – Simacai – Bac Ha – Hoang Su phi – Ha Giang – Dong Van karst plateau Geopark, Lung Cu flagpole to expose the spectacular scenery, visit untouched regions, meet and talk with curious people on the way or visit their family to learn their culture. Our cycling trip continue to conquer magnificent Ma Phi Lang Pass to uncover outstanding limestone mountain panoramas before descending to Ly Bon Bridge. We enjoy leisurelyspace on undulating route, along Gam river to Bac Me Town.

DAY 1: HANOI – ARRIVAL

Welcome to Vietnam. Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport,Indochina Explore Tour guide and driver will greet and pick you up to the Hotel at the heart of Hanoi capital. Hanoi, the antique and dynamic city of Vietnam, reserves a unique old world charm and several of the most striking colonial architecture of Asia. After the checking-in,Take relax by your own and do briefing itinerary with our guide for coming days. enjoy a cyclo ride through the bustling streets in the Old Quarter to discover the ancient and modern beauty of Hanoi. After the tour, you will be warmly welcome with a special welcoming dinner in a typical Vietnamese food restaurant. Stay overnight in Hanoi :

DAY 2: HANOI – YEN BAI

Having hearty breakfast in hotel, the shuttle bus take us out of busttling city along Red river to Song Thao. on the way , you are rewarded by breathking scenery, delightful sightseeing. Upon arriving cycling point, we have Lunch in local restaurant. Following lunch, we commence to ride along Red river bank to Yen Bai. We also enjoy leisurely space on gradual tarmac Road, passing dozens of coin and rice paddy fields. Admire peaceful villages as we cycle through villages and villages. Arriving in Yen Bai city late afternoon. Do check in and have dinner in hotel

DAY 3: YEN BAI – LAO CAI.102 KM

We start cycling day from Hotel, passing bustling city to Bank of Red River, we ride on undulating road lead to Bao Ha township. You rewarded by dreamlike scenery, peaceful hill tribe villages on hillsides, captivated by vast green tea farms and gum trees, cinnamon forest and palm gardens. Meeting with frendly people on their farm. Have lunch en route. After lunch, we continue to ride on single track and dirt road to Lao Cai,. We still keep riding along Red River until Bao Ha. Take transfer to Lao Cai city for stay over night.

DAY 4: LAO CAI – MUONG KHUONG 54KM

Have hearty breakfast in Hotel, we depart early to Muong Khuong Sunday Market. Muong khuong is frontier district of Lao Cai province, share border line with Yunnan province, is home of 14 different hill tribe peoples, of which Hmong is majority. Cycling and attending colourful Sunday Muong khuong market is unique and brilliant way to experience and explore the untouched regions, longstanding culture of Hmong people. Additionally, you have chance to capture fascinating landscapes and colourful people on the way to market. After visiting market, we kick off our pedal to villages, you can cycle leizurely around the villagea talk with local people or show your picture for the kids. Come back to Guesthouse for dinner and stay overnight.

DAY 5: MUONG KHUONG – SIMACAI ( COC LY) – BAC HA

Start early in the morning to conquer a long climb a head. We ascend first 7 km to summit and then down hill to Chay river and then challenge 35 km climbing to summit. Today is hard and challenging day for all of us. We ride along frontier road between Vietnam and China lead to Bac ha town, on the way ,we enjoy breathtaking scenic beauty of Chay River and rice terraces on hill sides. Have lunch en route, after lunch meal. We contimue to conquer the last pass before descending to Bac Ha Town.

DAY 6: BAC HA – COC PAI – HANG SU PHI

After breakfast, we have early riding to Lung Phinh where we will then cycle off road on single track to Xin Man, stop for picnic lunch en route. After lunch, we ride downhill to Coc Pai Town, then conquer the “Heaven Gate Pass” prior to riding downhill in Hoang Su Phi Town enjoying the spectacular scenery dotted with Flower H’Mong, Tay,Nung, Dao Phu La..villages. Overnight in Hoang Su Phi.Cycle: Depending on total 85km, off road, dirt road and asphalt road

DAY 7: HOANG SU PHI – HA GIANG 102 KM

Ha Giang is the capital of the province of the same name. It is back-dropped by limestone outcrops soaring skywards over the suburbs which hints at the amazing scenery. Ha Giang province shares 270km long border with Yunnan province of China and bounded by Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang and Cao Bang provinces. Today we take easy cycling on the road between Hoang Su Phi and Ha Giang. For travellers, it offers one of the most pristine beautiful limestone mountains and marvelous rice terrace scenery, which is listed as National Heritage of Northeast Vietnam. After taking short visit to tribal villages on side roads, we cycle down to VietQuang then transfer to hotel in Ha Giang.

DAY 8: HA GIANG – TAM SON – YEN MINH ( 97 Km)

Setting off this morning we head out of town cycling for the first 25km on relatively flat road through the landscape of terraced rice paddy fields. Passing through minority villages we cycle the next 25km up winding roads into the vast limestone mountain range with its perpendicular walls of rock, climbing 800m towards the mountain road pass “Heaven gate 1”. As we pass through mountain villages sometimes covered by cloud, we will receive a friendly greeting from the local communities. From the pass we can look down at amazing views, including the famous vista of the Tam Son valley with the ‘Twin Hills and can spy Quan Ba town, Have lunch on summit and enjoy picturesque scenery. After lunch meal we set off our bike to descend to river and ride along to Gam river until we meet another pass again. We cycle uphill for the first few km before a descent of around 10km and then relatively flat terrain for the next 10km. It’s a challenging up and down terrain to an altitude of 1.025m before we make a final descent for the last 15km into Yenh Minh. We will have the chance to see the traditional homes of the local hill tribes. The communities in this area are Chinese.

DAY 9: YEN MINH – LUNG CU – DONG VAN

Today is great and incredible day with us whilst cycling in the heart of world listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark . Have hearty breakfast in hotel and take a quick visit colourful hill tribe market nearby hotel and then commence cycling on the way of Happiness road to Dong Van. You are rewarded by pristine nature and magnificent karsk Plateau scenery while cycling ascending to summit. Stop to visit and explore Hmong King Palace ( Vuong Chi Sinh Palace) and then we continue cycling to Lung Co Pole Flag Tower. Have lunch enroute. After lunch we keep riding on back road to Dong Van Town. Upon arriving, do check in and have relax by your own.

DAY 10: DONG VAN – MEO VAC – BAO LAC 125 km

There is a market daily in the town center of Meo Vac used mainly by the White Hmong, Tay and Lo Lo hill tribes. Women dressed in their brightly coloured traditional clothing walk into the town carrying their bamboo woven baskets laden with corn and vegetables. Today we follow a remote mountain road to Bac Me on desceding road, along the Gam river. After a 5km uphill cycle we make a 30km descent the follow a fairly flat road for the next 10km. The surrounding landscape with predominantly limestone formations is a surreal vista of peaks, troughs, towers and caves. The crops and dwellings seem to perch precariously on the hillsides. There’s a relatively gentle uphill climb of before we descend for the final 30km along flat terrain. We will pass people from the local minority communities along the way dressed in their vibrant tribal costumes. Stop on sideroad to visit local market or exploring daily life of hill tribal people. Have lunch enroute. Following lunch we continue to ride along the bank of Gam river, conquere on relatively tough pass before descending to Bao Lac town

DAY 11: BAO LAC – CAO BANG 126 km

Today is the most challenging cycling day in our trip. when we spend half day for 38 km ascending on the summit of Pia Hoac and then down hill on paved road to Cao Bang City. When we ride we will capture of sublime limestone mountain range and explore the untouched region in frontier area. Have lunch en route. After lunch meal, we keep going to Cao Bang city. Have dinner and stay overnight in Sunny Hotel

DAY 12: CAO BANG – PAC PO – BAN GIOC 146 KM

Cao Bang, a province in the northern highlands, shares borders with China (north), Bac Can and Lang Son (south), and Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang (west). There are nine ethnic minorities living in Cao Bang, including the Tay, Nung, Dao, and H’mong.. Famous sites include Thang Then Lake in Tra Linh, Ban Gioc Fall in Trung Khanh, and Ba Be Lakes in Ba Be. Several sites where Uncle Ho lived and worked before the August 1945 Revolution include Pac Bo, Coc Bo Cave, Lenin Stream, and Khuoi Nam Stream . cycling in Cao Bang is one of incredible way to discover and experience the historical relic, colourful hill tribal people and stunning scenery, meeting with hospitable people .
After hearty breakfast in hotel, we commence riding through the town and crossing the bridge on paved road to Ban Gioc Water Fall. You will be impressive on dreamlike scenery , picturesque soaring mountain and peaceful hill tribal villages. Challenging 7 km ascending Ma Phuc Pass before descending to Quang Uyen Town and ride on undulating road to Trung Khanh Town for lunch. Following the lunch meal, we conitune to ride on undulating road, passing many Tay Ethnic minoritiy villages to Ban Gioc water Fall. Upon arriving in Ban Gioc, we do check in Sai Gon Ban Gioc Resort. Dinner in Local restaurant

DAY 13: BAN GIOC – CAO BANG 87 km

Get up early in the morning to expose the fascinated nature, walking down to discovery the magnificent Ban Gioc Water Fall. Ban Gioc Water Fall is one of the most maverlous water fall in Vietnam, sharing with China a half of river . come back to Hotel for hearty breakfast. After breakfast, we commence riding from hotel to Hanh Lang Town on new frontier road to observer the picturesque limestone mountain ranges, passing many hill tribal village of Tay and Nung hill tribes. Learn about their life by visiting their house and chating with the local village or intertain their own special productions. Have lunch enroute. After lunch, we continue to ride undulated road and village road to Cao Bang city.. Upon arriving in Hotel, do check in and have relax by your own. Have dinner in Local restaurant.

DAY 14: CAO BANG- BA BE 134 km

After having hearty breakfast in hotel, we commence riding from hotel on tarmac road to BaBe national Park. Crossing bridge and turn off the country road ,we ride on paved village road until we meet national road 209 then turn right. Keep riding on tarmac road along the river to Bac Can. On the way, you are rewarded by stunning scenery, breaktaking limestone mountain view and magnificent rice terraces. Have lunch enroute. After filling up- engery. We kick off our bike un undulating road to Ba Be Lake.

Ba Be National Park is one of the oldest parks in Vietnam with stunning mountain scenery covered by semi tropical monsoon rainforest and claims the largest natural fresh water lake in the country. The area is home to a variety of minorities including the Tay, Red Dao, Coin Dao and White H’mong

 DAY 15: BA BE – THAI NGUYEN – HANOI 126 km

Get up early in the morning to enjoy pristine nature of Ba Be National Park and sounding from birds and monkeys inside the jungle. Have breakfast in hotel. We commence cycling from Hotel, passing the National park to Boat wharf and spending over one hour to discovery picturesque scenery of Ba Be Lake. It is blessed with breathtaking scenic beauty, lush jungle and stunning limestone panoramas. Cycling on the single dirt track to Dau Dang Water Fall to admire crystal water and awesome scenery. We ride back road to boat dock and enjoy one hour boat trip in anotherside of the lake. Have lunch in Ba Be Lake. After lucnh time, our shuttle bus take us back to Hanoi for three hours. Upon arriving in Hanoi , do check in and relax by your own. We have enjoy farewell dinner with our team.

DAY 16: HANOI – DEPARTURE

We are free until check out and transfer to Airport for departure or extended to your own tours
