What’s the deal with bonus Asia Miles?
US Asia Miles members can now earn up to 60,000 bonus miles when you take a round-trip flight to Hong Kong between September 1st and December 31st, 2016. First class, business class and premium economy flights from the following US airports are included in this promotion, which celebrates Cathay Pacific’s 70th year:
- New York (JFK)
- New York (EWR)
- Boston
- Chicago
- Los Angeles
- San Francisco
A first class round-trip flight to Hong Kong earns you 60,000 bonus Miles, a round-trip business class flight earns you 45,000 bonus miles and a premium economy round-trip flight earns you 30,000 bonus miles. The usual earning on these flights is between 15,210 round-trip to 24,178 round-trip, so it’s a decent bonus, particularly for first class passengers who will earn more than 84k instead of 24k miles!
If you’re not yet an Asia Miles member, you’ll get a one-time welcome offer of 500 bonus miles and if you’re a Marco Polo member, you’ll earn more too – between 500 and 10,000 bonus miles, depending on your membership tier!
