If there’s one thing we love about our Hotel being based in the heart of Earls Court, it’s that we’re never too far away from all the goings on at the London Olympia.

With events officially moving to the venue from the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in the past few years, the Olympia is now home to a broad variety of public and trade shows throughout the year.

And whilst it would take us far more than the space of a single blog to tell you about all of our favourite up and coming events, we didn’t want you to miss out on some of the best ones heading this way in the new year.

Without further ado then, here’s the Hotel Amsterdam’s guide to the top events at Earls Court’s London Olympia in 2016.

The London Health Show

January 20th – 21st

Struggling to stick to those New Resolutions of creating a healthier, happier you? Stay with us at the Amsterdam Hotel at the end of January, and you’ll be just in time for The London Health Show.

Officially opened by Dr. Christian Jessen of Channel 4 fame, the two day event features over 150 exhibitions, 22 workshops and plenty of live product demonstrations in areas such as anti-ageing, beauty, sports a fitness, complementary health, nutrition and more.

The France Show

January 29th – 31st

Thinking of jetting off across the English Channel once you’ve finished up in London? This three day event at the London Olympia offers plenty to whet your appetite for French living.

Cookery demos, exhibitions from leading holiday companies, French property firms and more are all on hand to treat Earls Court to the best that France has to offer.

February 20th – 21st

A one of a kind convention celebrating hit TV shows like The Walking Dead in all their gory glory. A fully interactive experience with visits from stars the show itself, not to mention scary zombies galore roaming the floors of the London Olympia, the zombie apocalypse is well and truly coming to Earls Court this February.

The Ideal Homes Show

March 18th – April 3rd

The Amsterdam Hotel is booking up fast for the end of March, and with the famous Ideal Home Show taking place just down the road, we’re not surprised.

We do still have a few rooms left available though, so if you want to sample the UK’s biggest home show this year, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

A Place in the Sun Live

May 6th – 8th

The popular Channel 4 show comes live from the Olympia this summer with its official exhibition event. With over 150 exhibitions of overseas properties, agents from across Europe and beyond, and a number of seminars and workshops to help you get your foot on the international property ladder, this is a must for anyone thinking of buying abroad.

Expect cameos from the shows presenters too, with Laura, Amanda and Jasmine all set to appear.

Spirit of Summer Fair

June 22nd – 25th

Rounding out the warmer months, the Spirit of Summer comes to London with this vast collection of boutique stores serving up unique gifts, home decor and fashion accessories, all in a mix of contemporary and vintage style.

When you’re done picking up a treat or two, don’t forget to head to the food and drink section to sample some unique dishes and beverages that you won’t find anywhere else.
