Based just a little over 10 minutes from our Kensington and Chelsea hotel, Hyde Park’s 350 glorious acres of lavish greenery, beautiful scenery, and world famous landmarks serve as a haven of beauty and majesty right the year round.

During their annual concert series however, the historic royal park really comes to life, as thousands of music lovers converge to kick back and relax, or to dance the night away with some of the biggest names in popular music.

So, if you’re looking for that memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience when you stay with us at the Amsterdam Hotel in London this July, the British Summer Time Series is it.

Here’s our guide to the concert highlights, the must-see performers, and how you can enjoy the perfect summer’s day right here in the heart of England’s capital.

Speaking of hot, can you imagine basking in the beautiful glow of the summer sun, surrounded on all sides by stunning scenery and remarkable views as all your favourite indie anthems soar all around?

If you can, now’s the chance to make that a reality as Kings of Leon head up a show which also includes The Pixies, Deaf Havana, and The Cactus Blossoms.

The Killers + Guests

Saturday July 8th, 2017

First of all, some bad news:

Tickets for the hottest gig of the summer have been sold out for months, so if you were planning on being with us at our Kensington and Chelsea hotel during the British Summer Time Series, this is one concert you may have to miss.

If you do have tickets though, expect to see Las Vegas stars The Killers light up Hyde Park with their soaring, indie-rock anthems.

Joining the ‘Mr. Brightside’ singers are the likes of Elbow, 80s’ stars Tears for Fears, and Mystery Jets.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers – 40th Anniversary Tour

Sunday, July 9th, 2017

Missed out on The Killers’ performance?

Don’t worry, there’s still one day of incredible live music to enjoy at Hyde Park, and as headline acts go, they don’t come much bigger than this.

Closing out the two-week festival in epic style, the legendary Tom Petty and his Heartbreakers celebrate forty years of hits on the biggest state in London.

With Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks also on the bill, expect to hear ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around’ – her classic collaboration with The Heartbreakers, as well as other Petty favourites like ‘Running Down a Dream,’ ‘Free Falling,’ and ‘Refugee.’

Support comes from The Lumineers, Ward Thomas, and other up and coming names, making this the perfect way to bring Hyde Park’s British Summer Time festival to a close.

Make your British Summer Time experience all the more memorable with the Amsterdam Hotel, London. Based within 10 minutes of Hyde Park, and close to all major London attractions, we’re ideally located to help you experience the best the capital has to offer this July.
