Drive to Ponmudi Hills (the Golden Peak) is a hill station in the Trivandrum District of Kerala in India. It is located approx 53 km north-east of Trivandrum City, at an altitude of 1,100 m (3,600 ft). Completely eco-friendly tourist place, Kallar Meenmutty Falls is a waterfall located approx 45 kms from Trivandrum City, Kerala. The falls are near Neyyar Reservoir area. No transportation is available in side the dense forest area, so visitors have to trek 2km through the dense forests to reach the waterfall.
